Job summary

Our client, a leading multinational electronics manufacturing company, is seeking a Process Engineer (NPI) to lead injection moulding process development for new product introductions. Location: Marsiling Road.

The role focuses on developing and optimising moulding processes, planning trials, and validating processes through IQ/OQ/PQ and DOE. You will drive process validation, DFM support, and tool discussions while providing technical leadership during FAT/SAT activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or diploma in engineering/manufacturing/polymer engineering or related field.
• Min 5 years in injection moulding process engineering.
• Experience with NPI programmes and process validation.

Our client, a leading multinational electronics manufacturing company is currently looking for a Process Engineer (NPI).

Location: Marsiling Road

Responsibilities

• Lead injection moulding process development activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Develop and optimise moulding processes to meet project timelines, customer requirements, and manufacturing objectives.
• Plan and execute mould trials (T0, T1, T2, and T3), establish process windows using scientific moulding principles, and conduct Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Lead process validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ, and define critical process parameters and control strategies.
• Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews, tool design reviews, Moldflow analysis, and supplier technical discussions.
• Develop process setup sheets, validation documentation, and manufacturing standards.
• Provide technical leadership during tooling, equipment, customer, and supplier reviews, including FAT and SAT activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the successful transfer of validated moulding processes into production.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Polymer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in injection moulding process engineering.
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes and process validation activities.
• Strong knowledge of scientific moulding, process optimisation, DOE, SPC, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in medical, electronics, or high-precision manufacturing environments is preferred.
• RJG or equivalent Scientific Moulding certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
