ams OSRAM Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Staff Engineer, Process Engineering to drive dispensing and PnP development in a high-volume semiconductor environment.

You will own process development during engineering builds, define equipment needs, and lead inline inspection strategies to maintain product quality. The role requires a degree in engineering, 3+ years in dispensing and PnP processes, and proficiency with SPC and data tools.

Qualifications

• Dispensing and pick & place process development experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong SPC/ DOE/ 8D and Six Sigma with data analysis tools.
• Experience with Datacon equipment is advantageous.
• SolidWorks or AutoCAD proficiency and strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Owner of process development during engineering builds for dispensing and pick & place processes, with data collection, analysis and optimization.
• Define equipment needs and drive inline inspection and metrology strategy to ensure product quality.
• Implement mechanical and optical material characterization during screening, validation and qualification.
• Perform root-cause analysis using statistical methods and feed learnings into PFMEA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee build execution and documentation.
• Support NPI phase via technology transfer to operations.
