Asahi Kasei Synthetic Rubber Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Process Engineer to drive process improvement, safety, and quality in petrochemical operations. The role emphasizes leading trials, evaluating performance, and collaborating across R&D and operations.

The incumbent will participate in HAZOP/FS, manage CAPEX projects from concept to FEED, and explore Industry 4.0 technologies to boost productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Chemical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in petrochemical industries; senior with 5+ years.
• SCEM certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Safety Case Regime, IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, SS 651, IEC 61511 advantageous.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and collaborate across departments.

Responsabilités

• Draft and implement process improvement ideas to enhance safety, product quality, energy efficiency, capacity, and cost via MOC or non-regular work system.
• Coordinate and plan new grade trials with R&D and operations; manage trials and evaluations.
• Evaluate long-term process performance to identify risks to plant stability, safety or quality.
• Participate in HAZOP, FMEA and Control Plan studies for safety and quality improvements.
• Oversee process-related CAPEX projects from conceptual design to FEED, leading department manager-assigned projects.
• Study and implement Industry 4.0 technologies for productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651, IATF16949, Safety Case Regime, Energy Management System, ISCC+.
• Conduct NRW, MOC studies as requested by other departments.
