Job summary

Kulicke & Soffa is seeking a Senior Engineer II, CFT Application in Singapore to lead development and optimization of process parameters for customer applications. You will create detailed work instructions, standards, and process documents while driving improvements in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost reduction.

You will troubleshoot complex machine issues, perform setup and calibration of wedge bonder equipment, and analyze test data to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Advanced level knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Over 5 years of experience in process engineering.
• Good knowledge of machine troubleshooting and testing.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize process parameters for customer applications.
• Create work instructions, workmanship standards and process documents.
• Drive continuous improvements in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost reduction.
• Perform advanced machine troubleshooting and recommend solutions.
• Set up, calibrate and test wedge bonder machines to meet shipment schedules.
• Interpret and analyze test data to guide decisions.
• Train and supervise staff on new development processes and technology.
• Lead successful customer machine buyoffs and validate performance.
