Job summary

Kulicke & Soffa is seeking a Senior Engineer II, CFT Application in Singapore to lead development and optimization of process parameters for customer applications. You will troubleshoot complex machine issues, perform setup and calibration of wedge bonder equipment, and analyze test data to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Advanced level knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Over 5 years of experience in process engineering.
• Good knowledge of machine troubleshooting and testing.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills.

Senior Engineer II, CFT Application

As a Senior Engineer II, CFT Application in Kulicke & Soffa, this position will be developing and optimizing process parameters, creating work instructions and process documentation, and driving continuous improvements in quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction. Skilled in advanced machine troubleshooting, machine setup, calibration, testing, and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop / Optimize process parameters for customer application ·
• Develop working instructions, workmanship standards and process documents ·
• Improve continually existing operation for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings
• Handle advance level troubleshooting on machine by recommending solutions ·
• Perform set-up, calibration and testing of wedge bonder machine in order to meet shipment schedule ·
• Interpret and analysis test data·
• Train and supervise staff on new development processes and technology ·
• Lead successful customer machine buyoff·
• Identify ways to reduce operation costs through recommendations – i.e. new process equipment, equipment justification to improve performance
• Establish a training and quality culture ·
• Troubleshoot process/machine problem affecting application by reporting and recommending solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
