Ensures maximum plant availability, supply reliability, and site safety by overseeing equipment maintenance regimes, vendor quality, and strict compliance with safety protocols (Safe Work Permits, MOC, and IMS). The role leads root cause analysis for operational incidents, controls site OPEX/CAPEX budgets, and supervises technician training, daily handovers, and cross-departmental coordination to maintain seamless operations. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Plant Availability & Maintenance Oversight
  • Execute monthly maintenance schedules, audit vendor work quality, evaluate maintenance deferral justifications, and ensure work order closures to maximize equipment reliability and plant uptime.
Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for site incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) locally and across related sites to eliminate repeat failures.
Safety, Quality & Risk Management
  • Enforce strict compliance with Safe Work Permits, risk assessments, Management of Change (MOC) protocols, and quarterly scenario action plans while actively encouraging near‑miss reporting.
Budget & Financial Control
  • Manage operational expenditures (OPEX) within target budgets and prepare technical and financial justifications for capital expenditure (CAPEX) facility improvements.
Compliance & Supply Reliability
  • Maintain Integrated Management System (IMS) compliance, complete audit action items, and ensure seamless supply reliability and plant availability standards are consistently met.
Team Leadership & Operational Alignment
  • Supervise site personnel training and qualification records, conduct regular execution audits, and lead daily handover meetings to ensure smooth operational continuity.
Are you a MATCH?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or relevant field
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in the chemical, petrochemical, or industrial gas sector.
  • Solid technical knowledge of site equipment maintenance regimes, plant availability strategies, and vendor quality management.
  • Strong grasp of process safety and risk management tools, including HAZOP, FMEA, Safe Work Permits, and Management of Change (MOC) workflows.
  • Practical financial acumen to monitor operational expenditures (OPEX) against budgets and justify capital expenditure (CAPEX) facility upgrades.
  • Ability to lead site technicians, enforce execution standards, and manage daily shift handovers and cross-departmental coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and facility management.
