Job summary

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg) is seeking a capable operations supervisor to organize plant workflow and coordinate interfaces with Industrial, Maintenance, SIO Center and Business teams. You will oversee daily operations, provide technical leadership, and drive energy efficiency for nitrogen generators and auxiliary systems.

The role requires a chemical engineering degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in industrial process operations or production.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage customers and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of operational functions, technologies, and equipment.
• Self-motivated, independent and proactive in seeking guidance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the unit’s operations by organizing activity/workflow and interfacing with other teams.
• Provide operational & technical leadership for daily plant operations and shutdown maintenance.
• Drive site efficiency and energy optimization, including end-to-end liquid production and scheduling.
• Enforce safety rules, regulatory compliance and IMS standards, supporting the Emergency Response Team.
• Plan preventive maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshoot for planned/unplanned shutdowns.
• Manage daily customer expectations, supply reliability, and inventory to prevent service disruptions.

• Supervise the operations of the unit by organizing the activity/workflow of the plant and making the interface with other teams (Industrial / Maintenance, SIO Center, Business Developer....)
• Operational & Technical Leadership: Oversee daily plant operations, technical support, and shutdown maintenance for nitrogen generators and auxiliary systems to guarantee uninterrupted product supply.
• Efficiency & Energy Optimization: Drive site optimization programs, analyze operational data, and manage end-to-end liquid production, scheduling, and energy efficiency.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety rules, legal regulations, and IMS standards, while actively serving on the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Plan and execute preventive maintenance, analyzer calibrations, and emergency troubleshooting for planned and unplanned plant shutdowns.
• Customer & Stakeholder Management: Manage daily customer expectations, supply reliability, consumption reporting, and inventory tracking to prevent service disruptions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Preferably at least 1-3 years of experience in industrial process operations or production; experience in a related field is an advantage.
