Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients as primary relationship manager.
• Originate and acquire new clients, driving NNM and AUM growth.
• Understand clients' objectives, investment preferences, risk appetite, liquidity needs.
• Provide holistic wealth management across investments, products, FX, lending and other banking solutions.
• Partner with Investment Advisors, Product Specialists, Credit and Wealth Planning.
• Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through cross-selling.
• Maintain regular client engagement and market updates.
• Ensure activities comply with KYC, AML, suitability, regulatory requirements.
• Maintain understanding of financial markets and products for HNW/UHNW clients.
• Contribute to growth of the bank's private banking franchise.

Senior Private Banker

Role Overview

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Senior Private Banker to manage and grow a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating new client relationships, deepening existing relationships, and delivering tailored wealth management and investment solutions across multiple asset classes. This role is suited to an established private banker with a strong client network, proven asset-gathering capabilities, and an excellent track record in relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and develop a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients , serving as their primary relationship manager and trusted advisor.
2. Originate and acquire new clients, driving Net New Money (NNM) and Assets Under Management (AUM) growth.
3. Develop a deep understanding of clients' financial objectives, investment preferences, risk appetite, liquidity requirements, and broader wealth management needs.
4. Provide holistic wealth management solutions across investments, structured products, equities, fixed income, funds, foreign exchange, lending, and other banking solutions .
5. Partner with Investment Advisors, Product Specialists, Credit, Wealth Planning, and other internal stakeholders to deliver customized solutions.
6. Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through cross-selling and broader wallet penetration.
7. Maintain regular engagement with clients and provide timely updates on markets, portfolios, investment opportunities, and relevant banking solutions.
8. Ensure all client activities comply with KYC, AML, suitability, regulatory, and internal risk management requirements .
9. Maintain a strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and developments affecting HNW/UHNW clients.
10. Contribute to the continued growth and development of the bank's private banking franchise.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Banking , or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 8-10 years of relevant private banking / wealth management experience , with an established track record as a Relationship Manager or Private Banker.
3. Strong existing network of HNW/UHNW clients and demonstrated ability to acquire and grow client relationships.
4. Proven track record in AUM/NNM generation and revenue delivery .
5. Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, credit solutions, and wealth management.
6. Excellent relationship management, communication, influencing, and business development skills.
7. Strong understanding of Singapore's private banking regulatory and compliance environment.
8. Relevant CMFAS qualifications and regulatory certifications preferred.
9. Highly commercial, client-focused, and able to operate effectively in a performance-driven environment.
