Job summary

CPG Facilities Management Pte Ltd is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the planning and design of building services mechanical works. You will prepare tender documents, design specs, and supervise installation and commissioning to ensure quality delivery for clients.

Ideal candidates will have a recognised Mechanical Engineering degree, PE Board registration a plus, and 5+ years in consulting environments with strong knowledge of codes and submissions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical engineering design for building services.
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for Principal role.
• Experience in a consulting firm with track record on major development projects.
• Familiar with local codes and authority submission procedures.

• Responsible for leading the planning and design of Mechanical engineering works for building services.
• To prepare tender documents, design and technical specifications for tenders, as well as supervise the installation and commissioning of Mechanical works.
• Oversee project execution, quality and contract administration of Mechanical engineering works.
• To collaborate with peers of other disciplines in feasibility study and design, and ensure delivery of quality service for clients.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore will be advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical engineering design for building services. Candidates with more experience will be considered for Principal role.

• Good working experience in a consulting firm with a proven track record in major development projects.
• Conversant with local codes and regulations, and authority submission procedures.
• Strong planning, organizational and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit is advantageous.
• A team player, able to work both independently and as a group, ensuring excellent project delivery to Clients and other stakeholders.
