Job summary

Singtel invites you to join as Senior AI Platform Architect, responsible for architecture and evolution of AI platform domains, including the Central AI Kitchen (CAK) or equivalent, aligning with enterprise standards.

You\'ll work with the Lead AI Platform Architect, Enterprise Architecture, AI Platform Engineering and Security teams to translate strategy into domain architectures, standards and implementation guidance, ensuring alignment with governance and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in platform/software/enterprise architecture roles.
• 2+ years designing AI/generative AI platform capabilities.
• Experience with architecture governance processes (SRB/ARB).

Role SummaryAs a Senior AI Platform Architect, you will be responsible for the architecture, technical design and evolution of assigned AI platform domains within Singtel's enterprise AI platform, including the Central AI Kitchen (CAK) or equivalent and its supporting AI ecosystem. You will define domain architecture, evaluate emerging technologies and develop reusable platform capabilities that enable secure, scalable and enterprise-ready AI services across the organisation.

Working closely with the Lead AI Platform Architect, Enterprise Architecture, AI Platform Engineering, AI Platform Operations, AI Security and AI Solution Architecture teams, you will translate enterprise AI platform strategy into domain-specific architectures, technical standards and implementation guidance, ensuring platform capabilities align with enterprise architecture, governance and business requirements.

You will serve as the technical lead for your assigned platform domain(s), providing architectural guidance throughout capability planning, implementation and lifecycle evolution while continuously evaluating emerging AI technologies to improve platform capabilities.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Own the architecture, technical design and roadmap for assigned AI platform domain(s) or capability areas, ensuring alignment with the enterprise AI platform strategy.
• Design for the particular reusable platform capabilities such as Model Gateway, MCP, Observability, Eval and AgentOps architecture, etc architectural patterns and technical standards for assigned platform domains.
• Engage with technology partners, cloud providers and AI vendors to evaluate emerging technologies relevant to assigned platform domains.
• Implement proof-of-concept (PoC), technology evaluation and pilot initiatives for assigned platform capabilities, validating technical feasibility, scalability and enterprise readiness.
• Work with the Lead Platform architect to design the architecture and best practices for assigned AI platform capabilities, including model optimisation, inference, orchestration or other specialised domains.
• Design platform capabilities supporting multimodal AI, AI agents, model lifecycle or other assigned technical domains.
• Define architecture and governance for assigned platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise AI standards and lifecycle management practices.
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks, technologies and commercial platforms, recommending adoption within assigned platform domains.
• Contribute to Build, Buy or Partner recommendations by assessing technologies against enterprise architecture principles, business requirements and platform strategy.
• Develop and maintain architecture documents, reusable design patterns, implementation guidelines and technical standards for assigned platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity and governance teams to ensure assigned platform architectures comply with enterprise standards and security requirements.
• Review architecture proposals for assigned platform capabilities and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, platform standards and governance requirements.
• Prepare and present architecture proposals for assigned platform capabilities to the Solution Review Board (SRB), senior management and Group/Enterprise Architecture, and support Architecture Review Board (ARB) submissions where required.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical direction to AI Platform Engineering teams throughout implementation of assigned platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with AI Platform Engineering and AI Platform Operations to ensure platform capabilities are designed for operational excellence, observability, reliability and maintainability.
• Partner with AI Solution Architects to ensure platform capabilities effectively support business solutions and evolving enterprise AI requirements.
• Work closely with AI Security Architects to incorporate AI security, Responsible AI, privacy and governance requirements into assigned platform capabilities.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of the enterprise AI platform by identifying improvements, technology innovations and optimisation opportunities within assigned platform domains.

Skills For Success

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical discipline.
• Strong foundation in software architecture, cloud-native technologies, distributed systems and AI platform technologies.
• At least 5 years of experience in platform architecture, software architecture, cloud architecture or infrastructure architecture, designing enterprise platforms.
• At least 2 years of experience designing AI, Machine Learning or Generative AI platforms or platform capabilities.
• Proven experience designing architecture for one or more AI platform capabilities, reusable platform services or enterprise technical platforms.
• Experience preparing architecture proposals and participating in architecture governance activities (e.g. SRB, ARB or equivalent).
• Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Platform Operations, Cybersecurity, Data and Business teams.
