Job summary

Grab seeks a senior technical leader to transform how we engineer with AI, raise the architectural bar for large-scale distributed systems, and create common platforms that empower teams to move faster with greater autonomy.

You will partner with senior engineers, engineering leaders, product leaders, and data scientists to establish reference architectures, engineering principles, and reusable patterns that scale across mobility, food delivery, e-commerce, and payments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering and system design experience.
• 5+ years in principal engineer or architect roles.
• Experience driving AI-enabled engineering transformation, including coding agents and guardrails.
• Experience architecting and scaling large distributed systems with high reliability.

Responsibilities

• Transform the Software Development Lifecycle with AI and autonomous agents throughout the SDLC.
• Architect systems for massive scale, reliability, performance, and security.
• Build common platform primitives across Grab ecosystems to enable teams.
• Enable autonomous teams while maintaining architectural coherence and shared principles.
