Job summary
Platform&Co seeks a Principal Software Engineer / Senior Solution Architect to drive the evolution of a next-generation Data Platform and shape software architecture strategy. Reporting to the Director of Software, you will provide senior technical leadership across architecture, platform transformation, and engineering excellence.
You will collaborate with global Engineering, Product, and R&D teams to translate complex requirements into scalable commercial solutions, defining architecture
Qualifications
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in software development and architecture for large, complex technology solutions.
- Strong experience defining and executing software architecture and platform transformation strategies.
- Experience using AI tools to support software development, architecture, and engineering workflows.
- Experience delivering AI-native software development environments.
- Experience with data platforms, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Own and define the architecture strategy for transforming the Data Platform into a modern, scalable platform.
- Lead the architecture and technical direction of new data and software platform capabilities.
- Provide architectural oversight throughout the software development lifecycle for high-quality outcomes.
- Champion the adoption of AI-assisted and AI-native practices to boost productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent experiences across product portfolio.
- Partner with leadership on technology strategy, product planning, and platform evolution.
