Job summary

Grab is seeking a senior technical leader to transform how we engineer with AI and to raise the architectural bar for large-scale distributed systems. You will help build common platforms and patterns that empower teams with greater autonomy.

You will partner with senior engineers, engineering leaders, product teams and data scientists to establish reference architectures and guardrails that scale across the Grab ecosystem while maintaining coherence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering and system design experience with senior architect or principal engineer roles.
• Experience driving AI-enabled engineering transformation, including agentic workflows and guardrails.
• Proven ability to design and scale large distributed systems for high reliability.

Responsibilities

• Transform the Software Development Lifecycle with AI, embedding AI throughout from requirements to deployment.
• Provide architectural leadership for high-throughput, highly available distributed systems.
• Build and promote common platforms and primitives across Grab ecosystems to enable teams.
• Partner with engineers, product leaders and data scientists to maintain architectural coherence while enabling autonomy.
