Job summary

Grab is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack, to design, build, and operate full-stack systems for Grab Support Tech Family. You will work on React and TypeScript frontend applications, Golang backend services, APIs, microservices, and support workflows that power Help Centre and related support platforms.

You will lead technical designs independently, break down ambiguous problems, align stakeholders, and deliver reliable solutions end to end.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong full-stack development.
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript for production frontend apps, and Golang for backend services and microservices.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, service design, API design, data modelling, and reliability trade-offs.
• Experience leading technical design and delivering projects independently from requirements to production rollout.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and modern AI engineering practices (LLM APIs in daily workflows).
• Experience building maintainable, well-tested code with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Strong debugging skills across frontend, backend, logs, metrics, and production systems.
• Strong ownership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor engineers and improve team engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate full-stack features for Grab Support platforms.
• Lead technical design and implementation across frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Build scalable, reliable microservices and integrate with downstream systems.
• Develop accessible frontend experiences for users, agents, and internal staff.
• Collaborate with product, design, data science, QA, and other teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Own production readiness, including monitoring, incident response, and runbooks.
• Participate in on-call support, incident handling, root-cause analysis, and improvements.
• Use monitoring and trace tools to debug production issues and improve reliability.
• Contribute to testing practices across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Review code and provide mentorship to raise engineering quality.
