Job summary

Epergne Solutions in Singapore seeks a Data Architect / Technical Principal to lead the design and implementation of scalable enterprise data platform architecture.

You will shape end-to-end data architecture, including ingestion, storage, transformation, semantic modeling, and analytics, while driving data governance, security, and data quality. This role requires 8+ years of experience with modern data architectures and medallion/semantic data models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data architecture, enterprise data platforms, or large-scale data engineering.
• Strong experience designing modern data architectures, including medallion (Bronze, Silver, Gold) architecture and semantic data models.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable enterprise data platform architecture.
• Design end-to-end data architecture, including data ingestion, storage, transformation, semantic, and analytics layers.
• Define data models, schema designs, data contracts, and architecture standards to support business and analytics requirements.
• Establish data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, consistency, security, and compliance.
• Design integration frameworks for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources, including telemetry, IoT, system logs, and multimedia data.
• Develop scalable data warehouse and data lake architectures to support reporting, analytics, and AI/ML workloads.
• Define secure data access patterns for dashboards, APIs, and downstream applications in collaboration with security teams.
• Document architectural decisions, technical standards, and best practices, while providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
