Job summary

Beyondsoft Singapore is seeking a Senior Presales Consultant with strong QA and software testing domain knowledge to support client discussions, RFI/RFP responses, and testing service positioning across SEA. You will work with sales, delivery, and technical teams to design QA/testing solutions and prepare proposal content.

The ideal candidate has hands-on QA/testing experience and can translate client needs into practical testing strategies, with strong communication and stakeholder management

Senior Presales Consultant - QA / Software Testing Solutions

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Presales Consultant with strong QA and software testing domain knowledge to support client solution discussions, proposal development, and testing service positioning across Southeast Asia.

This role will work closely with sales, delivery, and technical teams to understand client requirements, design suitable QA/testing solutions, and support RFI/RFP/RFQ responses.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in software testing, QA delivery, automation testing, performance testing, API testing, UAT, test management, or quality engineering, with the ability to translate client needs into practical testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales teams in client meetings, discovery sessions, and solution discussions.
• Understand client testing requirements, pain points, project scope, and business objectives.
• Present QA/testing solutions, service capabilities, delivery models, and project approach to clients.
• Translate client requirements into practical QA/testing solution proposals.
• Support RFI, RFP, RFQ, tender responses, proposal preparation, and technical response documentation.
• Prepare client-facing materials, solution decks, testing approach documents, and capability presentations.
• Support technical clarification sessions and respond to client questions during the sales cycle.

QA / Testing Solution Design

• Design high-level testing solutions based on client needs, including manual testing, automation testing, performance testing, API testing, regression testing, system integration testing, UAT support, and test management.
• Recommend suitable testing tools, frameworks, team structure, delivery timeline, and engagement model.
• Work with delivery teams to estimate testing effort, resource requirements, project risks, assumptions, and implementation approach.
• Prepare testing strategies, test approaches, methodologies, project plans, and solution materials.
• Ensure proposed solutions are practical, commercially viable, and aligned with actual delivery capability.

Internal Coordination

• Work closely with sales, delivery, recruitment, and technical teams across Singapore, Malaysia, China, and other regional offices.
• Coordinate with internal testing practice teams to align proposed solutions with delivery capability.
• Support knowledge transfer from presales stage to delivery team after project award.
• Assist in building reusable testing solution templates, case studies, proposal content, and capability documents.
• Provide feedback on market needs, client expectations, and service positioning.

Market & Capability Support

• Support the development of QA and software testing service offerings for banking, insurance, fintech, enterprise, and digital transformation clients.
• Stay updated on testing trends, QA automation, AI testing, performance engineering, DevOps testing, and quality engineering practices.
• Help strengthen the company’s positioning in QA and testing services across Southeast Asia.
• Support internal capability building by sharing market insights and client requirements.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, technical consulting, QA consulting, testing solution support, or client-facing QA/testing roles.
• Strong understanding of software testing, QA services, and testing delivery lifecycle.
• Good understanding of test planning, test execution, defect tracking, test reporting, and QA delivery processes.
• Able to communicate fluently in English for client-facing discussions.
• Able to coordinate with regional and cross-border stakeholders.
• Able to prepare proposals, solution documents, presentation decks, and client-facing materials.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
