Job summary

China Harbour (Singapore) Engineering Company Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Public Relations Officer to manage public relations for a major LTA civil infrastructure project in Singapore. You will lead stakeholder engagement, handle public feedback and complaints, and ensure clear communication between the project team, authorities and local communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in public relations, stakeholder engagement or community relations within the construction industry.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on public relations experience in LTA projects in Singapore is required.
• Proven experience in handling public complaints, stakeholder engagement and coordination with relevant government agencies.
• Familiarity with LTA project requirements and public relations procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve public complaints, enquiries and feedback arising from construction activities in a timely and professional manner.
• Act as the main point of contact between the project team, residents, businesses, stakeholders and relevant authorities.
• Liaise with government agencies, statutory boards, Town Councils and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits, stakeholder engagement sessions and pre- and post-construction surveys where required.
• Coordinate with the construction team and subcontractors to address public concerns and arrange necessary rectification works.
• Maintain accurate records of public feedback, complaints and follow-up actions, ensuring timely closure of cases.
• Prepare weekly updates, monthly public relations reports and presentations for management and the client.
• Attend project progress meetings, stakeholder meetings, site walkabouts and community engagement activities.
