Job summary

Verian Group is seeking a Senior Associate for its Policy Development & Evaluation team in Singapore. The role focuses on policy research, complex evaluations, and delivering evidence-driven insights to public sector clients.

You will manage projects end-to-end, conduct literature reviews, and design evaluation approaches while engaging diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a background in social sciences, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and strong quantitative analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Economics, Sociology, Public Policy, Political Science or related field.
• 2–3 years of research/consulting experience in government, public/third sector, academia or research consultancy.
• Experience with quantitative data analysis using R, Python or SPSS.

Responsibilities

• Client servicing: understand client contexts, translate challenges into policy-informed research and interventions.
• End-to-end project management: manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
• Literature reviews: source and summarize existing research from high-quality sources.
• Policy research & evaluation design: support theory of change development and evaluation design.
• Mixed-methods research: plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative studies.
• Impact evaluation & analytical methods: assist in statistical analysis and causal inference where appropriate.
• Facilitation & stakeholder engagement: organize interviews, focus groups and workshops.
• Craft evidence-driven narratives for reports and presentations.
• Capability-building & proposal-writing: assist in bespoke client sessions and proposals.
