Job summary

Institute of Policy Studies in Singapore seeks a capable research assistant to support literature reviews, data collection and analysis, and the design of survey instruments for social policy research.

You will work with SPSS, R, and Qualtrics, coordinate fieldwork with a dedicated team, and prepare progress reports and papers for internal and external audiences. A Bachelor’s degree and strong quantitative skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience.
• Strong grounding in quantitative methods and capability to handle large datasets.
• Familiarity with SPSS, Qualtrics, or R for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assess literature and prepare summaries.
• Collect, clean, format, and analyse data using statistical software and survey platforms.
• Assist in designing survey instruments and experiments, including sampling strategies and protocols.
• Prepare documentation for ethics board reviews and progress reports.
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate fieldwork with a dedicated operations team.
