Job summary

HYDROLOGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Plumbing Installation and Repair General Foreman to lead and supervise plumbing works at project sites.

The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in plumbing installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting as well as the ability to supervise and coordinate workers effectively. You will supervise plumbers and workers on-site, perform hands-on plumbing tasks when required, inspect systems for leaks and faults, and

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of relevant plumbing installation and repair experience.
• Experience as General Foreman, Foreman, or Senior Plumber preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing installation, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to perform hands-on plumbing work, not only supervise.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance on-site.
• Lead and manage plumbers and workers to ensure timely completion.
• Perform hands-on plumbing installation and repair when required.
• Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, faults, and blockages.
• Troubleshoot and rectify plumbing issues efficiently.
• Ensure works comply with project requirements, quality standards and safety.
• Read and understand plumbing drawings and plans.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors and other trades.
• Check and manage plumbing materials, tools and equipment.
• Monitor workers' performance and ensure safe practices.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Carry out other plumbing-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min 5 years of relevant experience in plumbing installation and repair.
• Previous experience as a General Foreman, Foreman, or Senior Plumber is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to perform hands-on plumbing work ,not only supervise workers.
• Able to lead and manage a team of workers effectively.
• Responsible, hardworking, and physically fit.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and solve site problems.
• Must be willing to work on weekends when required depending on project needs.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Relevant plumbing qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
