Job summary

SAKSOFT PTE LIMITED is seeking a Lead Platform & Release Engineer to drive enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and platform reliability. You will manage multi-environment deployments across Development, SIT, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production, ensuring consistency and operational readiness.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on software development, strong Python/Django backend experience, Linux/Unix administration, and a proven track record in DevOps, automation, and release management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software development and production support.
• Experience with Python/Django backend development.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and automation skills.
• Proven ability to design enterprise CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage environments across Development to Production.
• Enforce SDM, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Plan releases, deployments, and rollback procedures.
• Collaborate with architects, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Develop platform engineering standards and runbooks.
• Drive automation to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Monitor release performance and platform stability.
• Support incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Work with development teams to deploy Python-based apps.
