Job summary

Visa is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Singapore to own release management, CI-CD pipelines, and infrastructure health across cloud (AWS/GCP) and on-prem environments. You will implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation, manage containerized services with Docker/Kubernetes, and drive automation to improve reliability and deployment velocity.

Ideally, you have 8+ years in platform-infrastructure, strong scripting skills (Python, Bash), and proven incident-management

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in platform-infrastructure.
• Hands-on ownership of CI-CD and cloud operations.
• Proven expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, scripting, and production incident management.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end release management, including planning, coordination, and validation of production deployments.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI-CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures, deployment issues, and release blockers.
• Partner with development teams to improve release efficiency and reduce deployment risk.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) ensuring availability, reliability, and security.
• Perform server patching, upgrades, and maintenance following security/compliance.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Ensure environment consistency across development, staging, and production.
• Support containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes) and optimize performance.
• Monitor system health and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operations and deployments.
• Automate server patching, environment provisioning, health checks, and deployment workflows.
• Integrate scripts into CI-CD pipelines and standardize reusable tooling.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive standardization.
