OS skills: Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, SSH, Application Monitoring and Analysis and Support.
Infra skills: MS-SQL / Oracle (Design, Queryusing SQL, Optimize Queries), Apache Web Server, Jenkins, Git, and Infra Setup for applications
·Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines to support software development, testing, deployment, and release activities.
·Manage application environments across Development, SIT,UAT, Pre-Production, and Production, ensuring consistency, stability, and operational readiness.
·Establish and enforce technical quality standards throughout project delivery by adopting Software Development Methodology (SDM) guidelines, Agile practices, DevOps principles, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and automated testing practices.
·Plan, coordinate, and execute application releases, deployment activities, production cutovers, and rollback procedures with minimal operational risk.
·Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Infrastructure Teams, and Security Teams to ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, risk controls, and technology governance requirements.
·Develop and maintain platform engineering standards, deployment patterns, release procedures, operational runbooks, and environment management documentation.
·Ensure system implementations conform to approved solution architectures, technology roadmaps, scalability requirements, and operational support models.
·Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual operational effort, improve deployment reliability, and increase engineering productivity.
·Monitor and continuously improve release performance, deployment success rates, platform stability, and operational metrics.
·Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and support teams regarding platform capabilities, release schedules, deployment issues, and production support activities.
·Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, problem management, and implementation of preventive measures to improve platform reliability and operational resilience.
·Work closely with application development teams to enable seamless deployment and operation of Python-based backend applications and associated frontend components.
·Analyse impacts of infrastructure and deployment changes on existing systems, evaluate technical risks, and implement optimal solutions that maintain system integrity and service availability.
