Job summary

Nanyang Polytechnic is seeking a Senior Assistant/Assistant Manager in the Planning & Risk Management Department to shape NYP's strategic planning and institutional priorities, monitor performance, and generate insights for management decision-making.

You will translate trends into strategies, oversee annual work plans, engage stakeholders, and collaborate across units to strengthen alignment between strategy and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic planning or corporate planning.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking to translate complex issues into insights and recommendations.
• Strong writing skills to communicate ideas clearly and succinctly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support development and review of NYP's strategic direction by analysing trends and priorities.
• Monitor and evaluate implementation of strategic priorities; align plans with outcomes across units.
• Drive institution-level planning and engagement activities, including annual work plans, retreats and townhalls.
• Analyse performance data and translate insights for leadership decision-making across strategy, risk and operations.
