Job summary

You will identify risks and delays, propose mitigations, assist in preparing tender drawings and method statements, and support site planning when required. Strong collaboration and proficiency in MS Project/Primavera P6 are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior colleagues.
• Experience completing 2 project cycles is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Report to Head of Engineering on tendering function.
• Responsible for construction planning, scheduling and baseline programme with resource allocation for tender submission.
• Identify potential risks and delays in the project timeline, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies.
• Assist the preparation and review of tender drawings, method statements, safe work procedures, risk assessments, proposals etc.
• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.
• Assist project site planning and programming when required.
• Assist in developing power point presentation to seek Board or Management approval.
