Job summary

KAJIMA OVERSEAS ASIA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Planning & Scheduling Lead to drive project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project across multiple construction projects.

You will lead contract programmes, perform delay analysis, manage EOT submissions, and provide robust reporting through progress audits, S-curves, and KPI tracking. Strong collaboration with clients, consultants, and stakeholders is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • 8–10 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Primavera.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera P6.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls and delay analysis.
  • Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Prepare contract programmes and high-level summary programmes for presentations.
  • Review contract conditions to mitigate risks and highlight discrepancies.
  • Monitor progress, determine delay events and their impacts.
  • Lead EOT claims, submissions, and negotiations.
  • Prepare progress reports and audits including S-Curves and KPI tracking.
  • Prepare detailed commissioning and baseline schedules with resource and cost loading.
  • Advise on post-contract claims, disputes, and litigation related to programming.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Job Description:

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for multiple projects.
  • Prepares contract programmes, including high level summary programmes for presentation purposes.
  • Reviews contract conditions so as to highlight onerous provisions, conflicts and discrepancies and to propose recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Monitors the progress of the construction programme and determines the delay events and their impacts.
  • Lead the preparation, submission, and negotiation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and related contractual submissions.
  • Prepares progress reports and progress audits, including S-Curves, progress trackers KPI productivity and programming health checks.
  • Prepares detailed commissioning programmes/construction working programmes (various trade).
  • Prepares recovery programmes and presentations summarising key recovery strategies.
  • Prepares baseline schedule which includes resource loading and cost loading.
  • Provides advice on post-contract claims, reviews, disputes and litigation on programming.
  • Other ad-hoc duties by Management assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Primavera.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera P6.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, critical path analysis, delay analysis methodologies, and EOT claim preparation.
  • Proven experience managing complex project schedules and interfacing with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Good team player and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound understanding of work execution in relation to methodology, timeframes, productivity.
