Job summary

Obayashi Singapore Private Limited seeks a Planning Engineer to create and maintain schedules using Primavera or MS Project, develop baseline and recovery plans, and monitor progress against targets.

You will analyse delays, prepare progress reports, and provide input on post-contract claims and disputes related to scheduling. Strong communication and coordination across stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline or construction management.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera and/or MS Project is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares computer generated schedule programming to monitor progress and entitlements.
• Monitors construction programme progress and determines delay events and impacts.
• Prepares progress reports and audits.
• Prepares commissioning and recovery programmes.
• Develops baseline schedules including resource loading and progress.
• Keeps updated on industry practices and suggests improvements.
• Advises on post-contract claims, reviews, disputes, and litigation related to programming.
