Job summary

Kajima Overseas Asia (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior planner to lead the development, maintenance and monitoring of multiple project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

You will prepare contract programmes and high-level summaries for client presentations. The role requires 8–10 years in construction planning, hands-on Primavera experience, and strong skills in project controls, delay analysis and EOT claim preparation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8–10 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction projects.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, critical path analysis, and delay analysis methodologies.
• Experience with EOT claim preparation and contract submissions.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Lead the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for multiple projects.
• Prepares contract programmes, including high level summary programmes for presentation purposes.
• Reviews contract conditions so as to highlight onerous provisions, conflicts and discrepancies and to propose recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Monitors the progress of the construction programme and determines the delay events and their impacts.
• Lead the preparation, submission, and negotiation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and related contractual submissions.
• Prepares progress reports and progress audits, including S-Curves, progress trackers KPI productivity and programming health checks.
• Prepares detailed commissioning programmes/construction working programmes (various trade).
• Prepares recovery programmes and presentations summarising key recovery strategies.
• Prepares baseline schedule which includes resource loading and cost loading.
• Provides advice on post-contract claims, reviews, disputes and litigation on programming.
• Other ad-hoc duties by Management assigned from time to time.

Requirements
