Job summary

one consulting (global) pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction Planning Lead in Singapore to plan, schedule and monitor complex projects for on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil & Structural Engineering, 8+ years in project controls, and hands-on proficiency with Primavera P6 to develop and update baseline schedules and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a PE Board-recognised university in Singapore.
• At least 8 years of construction planning, scheduling and project controls experience.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 for developing, updating and managing schedules.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, resource planning and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling and monitoring of construction projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and update detailed schedules and baseline programmes using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure activities align with schedule.
• Track progress and analyse schedule performance against budgets and resources.
• Identify risks, delays and deviations and propose recovery plans.
• Serve as primary planning contact for clients, authorities and stakeholders, providing coordination support.
• Prepare planning reports, progress updates and schedule analyses for management and clients.
• Undertake other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure project activities are executed according to schedule.
• Track project progress, analyse schedule performance and ensure alignment of project timelines with resource allocation and budget objectives.
• Identify potential risks, delays, and schedule deviations and recommend practical solutions and recovery plans.
• Serve as the key point of contact for project planning matters with clients, authorities, consultants, and other stakeholders, providing technical support and effective coordination.
• Prepare project planning reports, progress updates and schedule analyses for management and clients.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a university recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PE Board), Singapore.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in construction planning, scheduling and project controls within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 with hands‑on experience in developing, updating and managing project schedules.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, resource planning and project coordination.
