Job summary

Stroke Support Station Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Physiotherapist to conduct admissions assessments, plan and deliver rehabilitation programmes, and provide individual and group interventions for stroke survivors and caregivers. The role emphasizes neuro-rehabilitation and community reintegration within a multi-language public service setting.

The position is based at Enabling Village (Redhill) or Boon Lay (Jurong Point).

Qualifications

• Must hold a Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy and be AHPC-registered.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in step-down outpatient settings.
• Competent in English and additional languages (Mandarin, Chinese dialects, Tamil or Malay) to serve diverse clients.

Stroke Support Station (S3) is a non-profit organization in Singapore dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for stroke survivors and their caregivers. S3 provides a range of programs focused on rehabilitation, empowerment, and community reintegration. Through specialized activities, wellness programs, and caregiver support, S3 aims to foster physical, emotional, and social well-being. The organization also advocates for stroke awareness and collaborates with healthcare professionals, volunteers, and partners to offer holistic, person-centered care for the stroke recovery journey.

You Will:

• Conduct assessments for clients during admission and periodic reviews
• Evaluate, plan and conduct rehabilitation programme for clients
• Provide individual and group interventions for clients
• Assist in the discharge planning and care plan for clients
• Participate in case discussion with care team
• Assist in the development and review of rehabilitation and wellness programmes for clients
• Training and supervision of therapy assistants

You Are:

• Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy and registered with AHPC
• Able to converse in English and other languages (Mandarin, Chinese dialects, Tamil or Malay) due to S3's population that we are serving
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferably with 2 years in step-down care outpatient settings
• Understanding of neurological rehabilitation and musculoskeletal condition
• Dynamic and proactive personality with good public relation and communication skills
• Someone who has good management, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
