Job summary

Capgemini in Singapore is recruiting a Senior Solution/Technical Architect to lead a large-scale payment transformation for a global financial institution. You will design, guide, and validate the architecture ensuring scalability, resilience, and regulatory compliance across core payment systems.

You should be highly technical, hands-on, and capable of driving an integration program end-to-end, defining patterns for banking platforms, and communicating with senior client leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience with architecture roles (Solution/Enterprise/Technical).
• Experience architecting large-scale, mission-critical systems in banking/financial services.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern core banking or payment platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture for payment platform orchestration services, including integration and data flows.
• Define and support non-functional requirements: high availability, throughput, security, disaster recovery.
• Design reusable integration patterns for core banking systems, SWIFT/ISO 20022 messaging, clearing and settlement, and third-party rails.
• Develop a working design model or prototype to validate the solution and architectural approach.
• Produce architecture documentation and present to client governance forums.
