Job summary

Energizer Holdings, Inc. seeks an Equipment Engineer to design, maintain and improve packaging machinery. You will drive reliability, safety and productivity across our operations.

The role requires hands-on engineering with a focus on mechanical, electrical and automation systems. Key responsibilities include development and testing of equipment, maintenance planning, data-driven performance analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver on project timelines and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in equipment engineering or related role.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls.
• Proficient in CAD and equipment maintenance tools.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and electronic equipment to meet specs and safety standards.
• Perform regular maintenance, diagnose issues, and minimise downtime.
• Test and validate equipment performance and compliance with standards.
• Maintain accurate equipment specifications and maintenance records.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and stakeholders to drive improvements.
• Oversee projects, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery within scope.
• Ensure all equipment and processes comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Customize equipment per customer specifications.
• Develop and deliver training on equipment operation and safety.
• Use data analysis tools to monitor performance and identify improvement areas.
