Job summary

Excelitas Technologies in Singapore seeks a Principal or Senior Product Engineer to own the optics product lifecycle from concept to production. You will drive NPI, coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations, and ensure targets for yield, COGS, OTD, and customer satisfaction.

You will lead FAT, FLP, and FAI, manage BOMs and routing, and push continuous improvements across manufacturing. Strong collaboration and hands-on design experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Optics, Optical/Mechanical Engineering or related.
• 5+ years in optics/opto-mechanical manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of optical components and applications.
• Experience with jig/fixture design and metrology.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle from RFQ to production.
• Drive FAT, FLP, and FAI to meet customer requirements.
• Manage BOM and manufacturing routing accurately.
• Drive yield, COGS, and On-Time Delivery improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Continuously identify improvements across lifecycle.
