Job summary

Lumilens in Singapore is seeking an experienced Active Alignment Process Engineer to join its photonics team developing advanced transceiver hardware for AI infrastructure. You will lead optical active alignment processes, operate, set up, and maintain alignment equipment, and develop alignment algorithms to maximize yield.

You will also oversee epoxy dispensing and curing workflows. Collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, and engineering, you will drive process improvements, document procedures,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of optical active alignment experience for transceivers or photonic devices.
• Experience with active alignment equipment and processes for optics (FAU, lens, isolator, PIC chip, etc).
• Experience with AA equipment buyoff and qualification.
• Familiar with alignment algorithms and fixture design.
• Knowledge of epoxy dispensing and curing methods and equipment control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize optical active alignment processes for transceiver production.
• Operate, set up, and maintain active alignment equipment and qualification activities.
• Develop, implement, and optimize alignment algorithms.
• Perform equipment buyoff and qualification activities.
• Oversee epoxy dispensing and curing processes.
• Design and refine fixtures to improve alignment processes.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and engineering to ensure high yield and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment control and alignment.
