Job summary

Public Service Division seeks a proactive Senior/Assistant Director (Operations) to lead a team of operations and enforcement officers in planning, coordinating and executing ground enforcement activities. Qualifications

• Have prior experience in field enforcement or field operations, including operational planning and execution in intelligence-led enforcement, ground command and supervision, and risk and threat assessment.
• Demonstrate strong leadership with the ability to command and motivate a team.
• Be versatile and decisive in dynamic, uncertain, or stressful situations.
• Show genuine commitment to protecting public health and safety.
• Be a collaborative team player able to work independently.
• Be physically fit and able to meet field operation demands.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and strong field enforcement instincts.
• Capable of guiding and supporting the team during late-night operations and activations.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, develop, implement and review enforcement policies and strategies.
• Coordinate deployment of enforcement resources and ensure safe, lawful operations.
• Manage manpower, budgets and assets to maximise productivity.
• Lead major or joint operations with internal and external agencies.
• Ensure evidence handling and post-operation documentation are accurate and timely.
• Develop officers through training, SOP updates and competency development.
• Maintain operational readiness and strengthen collaboration with stakeholders.
