Job summary

DBS Asia Central is seeking an experienced VP, Operational Risk Manager in the Risk Management Group. You will provide independent risk oversight and challenge to ensure robust operational risk management across units, with emphasis on resilience and effective controls.

The role requires a deep understanding of operational risk concepts, data-driven analysis, and strong stakeholder engagement to influence risk decisions at all levels.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business or technology.
• Strong understanding of operational risk, banking products and processes.
• Aptitude in risk and control roles with familiarity of risk management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent review and challenge to business units to identify, assess and manage operational risk.
• Conduct independent assessment of operational risk metrics and identify systemic risk concerns.
• Develop and maintain operational risk policies and mitigation programmes.
• Lead risk culture initiatives and training to enhance awareness within units.
