Job summary

gain city engineering (m&e) pte ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Operations/Operations Manager (Air Conditioning) to oversee daily ACMV operations, manage manpower for installations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and uphold service quality for clients.

You will optimise workflows, develop SOPs, monitor costs, lead ACMV technicians and supervisors, coordinate with clients and vendors, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in ACMV operations.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF, Split AC, FCU).

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations/ Operations Manager (Air Conditioning) to oversee daily ACMV operations, including managing manpower resources for job orders, issuance of equipment and materials for installation work, optimising work processes, improving cost management, identifying innovative technologies, resolving technical issues and handling customer feedback. The role ensures operational efficiency, service quality, cost control, team management and customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day air conditioning service and project operations.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor installation activities.
• Optimize manpower allocation and resource utilization.
• Develop SOPs for installation works.

Team Leadership & Supervision

• Lead and manage ACMV technicians, supervisors, and support staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and training programs.
• Ensure team compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Motivate and develop technical teams for high performance.

Client & Vendor Management

• Maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Address service complaints and ensure prompt resolution.

Financial & Administrative Control

• Prepare operational budgets and cost estimates.
• Monitor expenses and control operational costs.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with ACMV regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Maintain proper documentation for regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Certifications
