Job summary

SENTRON ENGINEERING (S) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced ACMV Project Manager to lead large-scale ACMV projects in Singapore, from design coordination to handover. You will manage schedules, budgets, resources, subcontractors, and site activities.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 10 years in ACMV, and proven experience in project management, site coordination, installation, testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the ACMV industry, preferably with large or complex projects/A&A jobs.
• Proven experience in ACMV project management, site coordination, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Experience managing and leading engineering teams; ability to supervise 3 engineers effectively.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, construction processes, technical coordination, and project delivery.
• Good understanding of project costing, variation orders, claims, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under project deadlines.
• Proficient in project scheduling and relevant engineering/project-management software.
• Knowledge of local building regulations, codes, and safety requirements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead ACMV projects from pre-construction to handover.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources and subcontractors.
• Supervise a team of engineers and mentor staff.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, authorities, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, method statements, shop drawings, and material submissions.
• Ensure ACMV works comply with project specifications, drawings, codes and safety requirements.
• Monitor progress, identify delays or risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project variations, claims, cost control, and contractual matters.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to management and clients.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper handover and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues and maintain good stakeholder relationships.
• Mentor and develop engineers and project team members to improve capabilities.
• Drive projects towards successful completion with high quality and customer satisfaction.
