Job summary

IET PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to lead on-site supervision of construction activities in Singapore.

You will ensure works comply with drawings, specs, contract requirements, and HDB/BCA standards, while coordinating with QP, consultants, contractors, and HDB representatives. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with at least 3 years of site supervision experience, and a solid knowledge of local construction practices.

Qualifications

• Registered Resident Technical Officer with IES/ACES.
• Minimum 3 years site supervision experience, preferably in HDB BTO projects.
• Strong knowledge of HDB specifications, BCA regulations, and local construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the RTO team on site.
• Monitor construction works for compliance with drawings, specs and contract.
• Coordinate with QP, consultants, contractors, and HDB representatives.
• Inspect and witness structural, architectural, and civil works.
• Review method statements, shop drawings, and inspection records.
• Maintain site records, daily reports, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and report site issues and follow up on rectification works.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support throughout the project.
