Job summary

Beca Carter Hollings & Ferner (S.E.Asia) Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Resident Technical Officer to supervise a team of technical supervisors on site for C&S, architectural, and M&E works. You will ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements, and resolve site issues to ensure timely completion.

The role requires strong interpretation of drawings, knowledge of local codes, and leadership of the on-site team.

Qualifications

• Recognized Civil/Structural Engineering degree acceptable for PE Board registration in Singapore.
• IES/ACES accreditation with valid Resident Engineer Practicing Certificate.
• 8+ years C&S experience with building structures knowledge.
• BIM and VDC knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills; able to lead a team of RTOs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of technical supervisors RTOs on site for C&S, architectural, and M&E works.
• Ensure site activities comply with regulations and client requirements.
• Report to C&S QP and coordinate with regulatory authorities and contractors.
• Interpret drawings and contract documents to guide works and resolve non-conformities.
• Conduct regular site checks for health, safety, and quality; maintain records and meetings.
• Attend site progress, technical, client-consultant, variation and coordination meetings.
• Any other tasks as assigned.
