Job summary

Selby Jennings in Singapore seeks experienced oil traders with a proven P&L track record to scale profitable trading across physical and derivative markets. The firm provides access to capital, operational support, and direct participation in value creation.

You will manage and grow a trading portfolio, identify arbitrage opportunities, and expand relationships with producers, refiners, traders, brokers, NOCs and end-users while collaborating with operations, risk, and finance teams to drive

Qualifications

• Proven track record of generating meaningful P&L within oil markets.
• Existing network of counterparties and demonstrated commercial credibility.
• Strong understanding of physical and paper trading dynamics.
• Ability to operate independently and manage risk effectively.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ambitions to build and scale a trading franchise.
• Experience trading any part of the barrel, including Fuel Oil, Naphtha, Gasoline, Distillates, LPG, Crude or related markets.
