Job summary

Woodlands Hospital is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist on maternity cover to join a multi-disciplinary team. You will lead assessments, therapy planning and deliver patient-centered care while coordinating with clinicians and students.

The role involves supervision of junior staff and contributing to quality improvement activities within the Allied Health team. This is a 0.4 FTE position from Oct 26 to Dec 26, with a focus on maintaining care standards.

Qualifications

• Recognized Diploma/ Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Registered with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC), Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessment and therapy planning.
• Review patient history, electronic case notes and interpret assessment results.
• Formulate patient-centered SMART goals in collaboration with patients and stakeholders.
• Communicate assessment results, therapy plans and outcomes to patients and colleagues.
• Document patient assessments, progress and plans to meet departmental guidelines.
