Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is hiring an Occupational Therapist in Singapore (Queenstown). The role involves assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering specialised OT interventions to support geriatrics, neurology, orthopaedics/hand therapy or palliative care.

You will collaborate with doctors and multidisciplinary teams, maintain records, update SOPs, and contribute to clinical education, research and service quality.

Qualifications

• Min. diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• AHPC registration required.
• Postgraduate qualification in relevant clinical specialty advantageous.
• Interest in geriatrics, neurology, orthopaedics/hand therapy or palliative care.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfortable committing to weekday hours and one half-day Saturday every 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients independently and develop appropriate occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide specialised occupational therapy assessment and intervention.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with doctors and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Review and update clinical protocols and SOPs.
• Support clinical education and supervision of Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants and students.
• Participate in clinical research and departmental projects.
• Monitor service quality, productivity and workgroup performance indicators.
• Manage therapy equipment inventory and support budgeting activities.
• Contribute to staff development, training and new clinical services.
