Job summary

ABER CARE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to assess elderly admissions, design care plans, and monitor progress.

You will lead group therapy programs, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and tailor interventions for dementia and other conditions, while documenting schedules and outcomes.

This role focuses on family and caregiver support, and requires full registration with APHC and at least 3 years of disability care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Full registration with APHC.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience with disability patient.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to determine care needs for elderly admissions.
• Implement regular care plan reviews with appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and facilitate group therapy programs tailored for elderly participants.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings for integrated care planning.
• Plan and execute group therapy programme and activities for elderly.
• Develop occupational therapy interventions for clients with Dementia, Psychiatric illness, Musculoskeletal and Neurological conditions.
• Evaluate and optimize therapy schedules with complete documentation.
• Have knowledge of dementia issues and able to manage elderlywho display behavioral problems.
• Establish supportive relationships with their families and caregivers.
