Touch Community Services in Singapore is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support the Senior Occupational Therapist in our Home Therapy team, delivering high-quality care in line with local regulations.

You will assess and implement treatment plans for elderly clients, conduct home safety assessments, train caregivers, and supervise students during placements, contributing to program planning and guideline development.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required (AHPC recognized).
• Registered Occupational Therapist under AHPC.
• 1–3 years of relevant geriatric OT experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, develop, implement, and document OT treatment plans for elderly clients.
• Conduct home safety assessments, recommend modifications, and prescribe assistive equipment.
• Provide caregiver training on ADLs within the home environment.
• Conduct staff and volunteer training on home safety, fall prevention, and wheelchair handling.
• Coordinate referrals to colleagues or external service providers for suitable care arrangements.
• Assist in implementing and evaluating clinical programmes. Supervise OT students during placements.
