Job summary

RAFFLES HOSPITAL PTE LTD invites an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Singapore. You will provide autonomous clinical assessments, develop and implement evidence-based care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to optimise patient outcomes.

The role requires full AHPC registration, strong documentation skills, and the ability to manage complex cases while mentoring Therapy Assistants.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Full Registration with AHPC).
• Educate Therapy Assistants on patient management, treatment procedures and use of different equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent competency in area of expertise.
• Demonstrate professional and legal accountability for all aspects of work within the domain.
• Ensure completion of patient documentation and records to reflect care provided and meet standards.
• Provide autonomous clinical assessment and diagnosis for patients to determine need for OT intervention.
• Use evidence-based practice to plan, implement, evaluate and progress patient care.
• Manage complex and challenging cases within specialty.
• Maintain and manage department caseload/workload effectively.
• Communicate and make recommendations to all relevant disciplines to maximise patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of occupational therapy services modalities.
• Orientate, supervise and advise staff when appropriate on patient care.
• Work with Therapy Assistants on administrative responsibilities.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor.

• Able to manage complex and challenging cases in area of specialty
• Maintain and manage department caseload/workload effectively and efficiently
• Communicate and make recommendations to all relevant disciplines of staff to maximize patient care
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of occupational therapy services modalities
• Orientate, supervise & advise staff when appropriate when required or requested on patient care
• Work with Therapy Assistants on administrative responsibilities.
