Job summary

ST ANDREW'S MISSION HOSPITAL is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality OT treatment as an integral member of the rehabilitation team. You will work on inpatient wards, develop individual care plans and goals for each client, and implement OT programs for dementia, psychiatric, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

The role requires full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council is required.
• Experience of at least 1 year is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality occupational therapy treatment as part of the rehabilitation team.
• Develop individual care plans and treatment goals for each client.
• Deliver OT treatment for Inpatient Wards.
• Plan and implement OT programs for dementia, psychiatric, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to review client progress.

• Provide occupational therapy treatment for Inpatient Wards.
• Plan and implement OT program for clients with Dementia, Psychiatric illness, Musculoskeletal and Neurological conditions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to review clients’ progress with other team members.

Requirements:

• Recognized degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy
• Must have full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council.
• Experience Preferably at least 1 year’s experience.
• Must enjoy working with elderly patients, especially for patients with neurological or musculoskeletal problems or mental health conditions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required
