Job summary

StarHub Ltd. seeks a Senior Observability Engineer to own and operate our enterprise observability stack. You will administer Splunk Cloud and Splunk Observability Cloud, and lead the rollout of OpenTelemetry telemetry across applications on AWS via EKS/EC2.

You will design AI-driven workflows to reduce noise and improve MTTR. The role requires 5+ years in observability, strong IaC skills with Terraform, Git and CI/CD, and familiarity with MAS-TRM/CSA data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering.
• 5+ years in observability, monitoring, SRE or platform engineering.
• Hands-on with Splunk Cloud/Observability Cloud.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry and telemetry on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Administer Splunk Cloud logging, indexing, access, and dashboards.
• Administer Splunk Observability Cloud for APM/RUM and dashboards.
• Roll out OpenTelemetry on AWS EKS/EC2 for multiple languages.
• Manage observability config as code using Terraform, Git, and CI/CD.
• Plan upgrades with vendors and validate release readiness.
• Design AI-driven observability workflows with guardrails.
• Enforce MAS-TRM and CSA data governance for telemetry.
• Perform periodic User Access Reviews and audits.
