Job summary

UNITED MEDICARE PTE LTD is seeking a senior nursing leader to oversee the planning, development, coordination and evaluation of nursing services in our nursing home cluster. You will ensure compliance with MOH and Singapore Nursing Board standards, identify new resident programs, guarantee appropriate staffing, and drive cost-effective care outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

Degree in management or equivalent is required.
Postgraduate nursing qualification is required.
State registered nurse with valid practicing license is required.
BCLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

Operationalizes the Nursing Home's goals and provides leadership in planning, development, coordination and evaluation of nursing services.
Ensure compliance with nursing standards set by MOH and Singapore Nursing Board.
Assist DON in identifying new programs and projects to address service gaps.
Ensure appropriate skills mix and adequate manpower for all shifts and services.
Maintain cost-effective service and optimal outcomes.
Promote evidence-based nursing care delivery.
Monitor trends and changing needs of residents in institutional settings.
Ensure job descriptions for all healthcare staff are endorsed and accessible.
Direct and facilitate staff development and training through various programs.
Oversee Training Department in developing healthcare staff to meet client needs.
Ensure up-to-date policies and procedures to guide care delivery.
Undertake other responsibilities as directed by Supervisor/Management.
