Job summary

SMRT Trains Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior/Executive Engineer in Building, Facilities & Permanent Way Asset Management to serve as SME for Network System Maintenance (NSM) and lead lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and cost control.

You will collaborate with project teams, optimize supply chain, negotiate contracts, and develop long-term NSM strategies with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree with 5-8 years of prior relevant experience in maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Integrated Induction & Retirement Programs with project teams to ensure seamless renewal.
• Supply Chain Management to optimize fleet availability and obsolescence management for sustainable support.
• Contract Negotiation & Management for outsourcing, repair, and logistics; familiarity with LTSS and framework agreements.
• Outsourcing Programs to evaluate cost-effective options and advise MMRC on contracted capabilities.
• Budget Control to monitor budgeting policies and efficient use of resources.
